Let’s Get Graphic!

When most of us think of graphic tees, we think of an old stand by for our blue jeans or a cozy fashion forward addition to our leggings.  While those are great ways to wear your tees, I want you to think beyond jeans.  I want to show you how to flaunt your favorite image or slogan covered tee with fashion and flare.  In fact – my favorite way to wear my graphic tees, is with my skirts and dresses.  Sounds a bit odd, I know.  But once you see how easy it is to create this look with your own personal touch – I think you will be hooked too!

Go Glam or Go Home

Wear your fav tee for a girls night out or cocktails at that posh new wine bar?  YES!  Pair your graphic tee with your flowy and feminine skirts and a clutch or small shoulder bag you are good to go.  The key here is keeping everything a neutral shade with hints of black or tonal in similar shades, to let the graphic tee be the stand out item. Casual with a Kick

Love the idea of upping your style level with your graphic tees, but not quite ready to go ‘glam’?  How about a compromise.  Choose a more casual or refined skirt and a pair it with a tee that has a softer toned graphic tee.  This look works especially well with vintage feeling tees.  Add some heels and a fab bag and you have just taken your look up a notch.  Shown here: Madewell Santa Cruz Vintage Tee on sale at Madewell for $19.99 (but only size large is left) –http://shopstyle.it/l/dsR7 or at Nordstrom for $35 – http://shopstyle.it/l/dsT2 with with Shein Frayed Hem Denim skirt $46 – http://bit.ly/2eOVsxG, Vintage Fendi Bag, and Vince Camuto Heels. Similar tees that would work for this look: 1. Young American Tee at Nordstrom $68 http://shopstyle.it/l/dsUf  2. Prepster Prints Rock Too

Do you row more to the stroke of a sporty canoe?  I love, love, love preppy printed graphic tees with my skirts and dresses.  I especially enjoy mixing textures, prints, and stripes with this category of tee.  Last night I added this anchor tee over a blue striped dress and I personally thought it was super cute!  Also try with a solid eyelet skirt or dress or over a small repeat print.  I say just have fun with it.  Keep your accessories minimal to not make the look too busy and for sure the compliments will come flowing in!
